Shifts are the spontaneous manifestation of freedom when we are painting. Looking for shifts in order to get shifts, in order to prove that we are free is not freedom. Shifts happen spontaneously, through intuition. Or with the help of questions when we are trying to be free from ourself, when we are painting out of our castle/box.
